Lionel
Lines.net is an ongoing history of my progress in building a layout
using post-war Lionel trains and tubular track. I am now in year
two of what I expect will be a five year project.
The layout is intended to be a highly-detailed post-war layout,
loosely modeled around the Perth Amboy area of New Jersey in the
early 1940's. Most structures and scenes are named for family members
and friends. Many of the trains featured here are the trains my
father purchased in the 1940's and 50's. |
